Meet the Coaches

Smurf Coach: Kyrie Muffley

Kyrie resides in Mechanicsburg with her husband, Jon. She works at Gunn Mowery, LLC as a Commercial Account Administrator and is involved in several Insurance groups.

Kyrie started cheering with a recreational team and cheered through high school. This is Kyrie’s second year coaching with the MMFA. She has experience coaching sideline cheer at the Smurf level.Her favorite part of coaching is seeing kids accomplish goals and learning how to work as a team. Kyrie’s coaching philosophy is to encourage her cheerleaders to do their best and be respectful to others while teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading, and most importantly to have fun!

 

Smurf Coach: Nina Stare

Nina grew up in Altoona where she took many years of dance as a child and was on a dance team through high school. She attended Shippensburg where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. After working in the counseling field for a few years, she attended Temple University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Working with people and helping others is what Nina enjoys.

Nina is married with four children: Madison (11), Colin (10), Gabriella (6), and Hayley (2). She enjoys running, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Nina has completed one marathon and a few half marathons.

This is Nina’s second year coaching with the MMFA. She has experience coaching sideline cheer at the Smurf level. She also helped coach girls basketball and girls soccer this past year.Her coaching family is to have fun and learn at the same time. She likes to be a positive role model for kids and keep them motivated through praise.

 

Pee Wee Coach: Aubrey Sippel

Aubrey spent the past seven years as a Multimedia Advertising Account Executive, but now works as a Retirement Counselor at Bethany Village Retirement Community. Aubrey enjoys spending time with family, being out in the sun, ice skating, crafting, and kickboxing.

Aubrey cheered for The Mechanicsburg Chiefs, Mechanicsburg Wildcats and Bloomsburg University Huskies. This is Aubrey’s first year coaching with the MMFA. She is so excited to meet the Pee Wee sideline cheer team for the 2018 season!

 

Pee Wee Coach: Megan Ward

Megan is the Principal at Monroe Elementary School in the CV School District, and is currently in the last phase of her doctoral program. She believes in the power of teaming and growing leaders.

Megan loves being with her husband, Dan, daughter, Emma (8), and son, Thomas (3). She loves reading and spending time at the beach house with her family.

Megan is originally from Philadelphia where she spent eight years cheering and 15 years dancing. This is Megan’s first year coaching with MMFA. She is excited to be joining the Wildcats this year as one of the PeeWee coaches!

 

Pony Coach: Cassidy Cadeaux

Cassidy is 30 years old and currently resides in Lebanon. After graduating from Kutztown University, Cassidy worked as a first grade teacher and actively participated in cheerleading camps and programs with Bible Baptist high school. 

Cassidy enjoys traveling, the art of magic and illusions (always keep one eye open!) and, of course, the sport of cheerleading. 

This is Cassidy’s first year coaching with the MMFA.  She is eagerly anticipating this coaching position as Mechanicsburg is her alma mater.  Cassidy has a strong vision that includes unity, team bonding, and performance.  While ensuring a clean sport aesthetic and enabling the girls to reach their full potential, Cassidy's motto of having fun will always prevail!

Midget Coach: Casey Minnich

Casey has a background in dental hygiene and has worked for Dental Health of Silver Spring for 18 years. She also helps at her daughter’s daycare once per week.

Casey is married to a MASH graduate.  They have three daughters: Ryan (4), Camryn (5), and Taylor (11), two of which are MMFA cheerleaders.

Casey went to CV and cheered for their midget and high school programs. This is Casey's second year coaching with the MMFA. She has experience coaching Smurf and Midget sideline cheer, as well as Pee Wee Level 1 competition cheer.

All coaches must have clearances on file with the MMFA prior to the first day of practice, August 1st.
